NMU Presidential Symposium today
Instead of a pollster calling your home at dinnertime, one will make a planned presentation today at Northern Michigan University. Steve Mitchell will present, “A Pollster’s Perspective on the 2012 Elections” from 3-5 p.m., in the Reynolds Recital Hall.
Mitchell is president of Mitchell Research & Communications, Inc., a national public relations/public affairs, marketing research, political polling and political consulting company.
NMU students, faculty, staff and retirees, as well as Marquette community members, are invited to attend this event. The lecture is free and open to the public. It is part of the NMU Presidential Symposium.
Thursday, October 25, another politically-themed presentation is planned. Craig Ruff will present “Examining Michigan’s Ballot Issues One by One.” Ruff is a senior policy fellow with the policy research firm Public Sector Consultants and is a former long-time Michigan executive office administrator. It will take place 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25 in the Reynolds Recital Hall.
