Women's Center Evening of Elegance

The Marquette Women’s Center and Harbor house are holding one of their largest fundraisers of the year by offering the community a night of culinary delights.

Their ninth annual Evening of Elegance dinner takes place tonight at the Landmark inn.

Some of Marquette’s finest chefs are preparing a seven-course meal, including pork tenderloin, Norwegian salmon and Mexican hot chocolate cheesecake.

The chefs, the Landmark Inn and Sysco Foods are donating their time, their space and their food.

That means every penny raised from the $75 tickets will go to the Women’s Center and Harbor House, the domestic violence shelter.

The evening begins with a silent auction at 5:30, followed by the dinner at 6:30, an additional silent auction and live entertainment.
