Eastside Originals Food & Wine Fest
Restaurants in the city of Marquette are coming together to raise money for charity while giving people a taste of what they have to offer.
Marquette’s Eastside Originals group is hosting its third annual Food and Wine Fest tomorrow.
The group includes more than 20 independently owned restaurants.
More than 15 of those member establishments are expected to be there, offering samples of their food.
The tasty delights should include things like local seafood, artisan baked goods, traditional pub fare and more.
The proceeds will be divided between three non–profit causes: the Marquette Senior High School music department, Voices For Youth and the Noquemanon Trail Network’s short trails.
She also says tickets, which are $25 each, are still available at many of the restaurants on North Third Street and on Washington Street, including her own.
The food and wine fest will take place at the Marquette Commons from 4 pm until 7 tomorrow.
