Warrior Relief Fund needs sponsors
The Warrior Relief Fund (WRF) ,The American Legion Post 349 and the Full Throttle Bar and Grill are finalizing plans for their 2nd annual Golf Outing. The money raised for the Warrior Relief Fund will go towards supporting Marquette County Vets and families. Part of the money raised in this event is earmarked for the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veteran’s.
The outing will be taking place September 8 at the Red Fox Run Golf Course in Gwinn. The inaugural 2011 event was a huge success with more than 50 sponsors and 40 four person teams.
But, additional sponsorship is needed for the event. Organizers are still recruiting local businesses to purchase hole sponsor signs. Each sign will be printed with the full business logo on a sign to be placed at a hole on the course. Signs can be purchased for $100 each. There is no limit to how many signs a business can put on the course.
The group is also looking for raffle items. If you are interested in donating an item for the raffle fundraiser, or putting a business – or individual – name on a hole sponsor sign, contact Tim Mathie via email at: tmat750@gmail.com.
