Art Display at St. Peter Cathedral
St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette has recently become the temporary home of some truly spiritual artwork.
The man behind the art work died back in 2009 but the passion of his work and of his life continues to live on in depictions of the bible.
Ed Lantzer of Kalkaska Michigan spent the last 30 years of his life, taking the images of the bible in his head and transforming them into one of a kind artwork.
And although he faced many struggles in his life he never stopped pursuing the vision in his head.
Father Ryan says the panels will be on display at the cathedral indefinitely.
The public is welcomed to come and see them for themselves during normal building hours. Currently the staff is training tour guides to give the full history of the artwork.
