Traffic reduced on US-41/M-28

Construction continues along a major route in Marquette County and could create some short-term delays.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says, beginning Tuesday, US-41 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction.

This will allow for the next phase of reconstruction along US-41/M-28 between Marquette and Harvey.

The current lane restriction is from the Carp River to Bayou Street for reconstruction, but will extend to the M-28 intersection. Work will be underway for milling and paving from M-28 intersection to Bayou Street.
