American Red Cross Offers Classes
The American Red Cross in Alger, Baraga, Gogebic, Iron, and Marquette Counties is offering a variety of preparedness and emergency courses.
The First Aid and CPR/AED courses teach people how to perform CPR and use an AED (automated external defibrillator), what to do if someone is choking, and how to prevent and respond to other emergencies until advanced medical help arrives. Course participants also learn how to control bleeding as well as how to care for seizures and other sudden illnesses.
All classes are held at the Coles Drive Training Center, located at 104 Coles Drive, in Marquette.
AUGUST CLASSES:
-Standard First Aid with CPR/AED – Adult and Child plus CPR – Infant ($110)
(This course is comprised of a web-based self study unit to be completed by the student before coming to class for the hands-on, instructor-led skills practice.)

-Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Review ($90) When: 8/22/2012, W 6p-10:30p (4 hrs 30 mins)
