Seney Wildfire Still About 65% Contained
Crews have been effective at holding the wildfire at the Seney National Wildlife Refuge below the north containment line.
The fire has burned about 3,200 acres since being ignited by lightning on Monday.
It’s still about 65 percent contained.
The Marshland Wildlife Drive, the fishing loop, the Pine Ridge Nature Trail and many interior roads are closed to all use.
The closure of these roads will be reassessed tonight.
