Alger County Ballot Issues
In Alger County residents in the city of Munising will decide uncontested races for mayor and three open slots for city commissioner.
Mayor: Rod DesJardins is running for the one year term.
Three Year Terms on the board:
Incumbent Robert Beauprey Jr.
Incumbent S. Richard Bornslaeger
Partial term – through May, 2013
Incumbent Kevin Cotey
AuTrain-Onota School District has before voters a renewal of operating millage. The proposal allows the district to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property, except principal residences and other property exempted by law, required for the school district to receive its per pupil foundation funding allowance from the state. The renewal is for one year.
