Guilty Verdict in Murder Trial
It’s a guilty verdict in the the David Levack murder trial in Iron County Trial Court.
A jury returned the verdict this afternoon after two partial days of deliberations, convicting 45–year–old David Levack of Kingsford on several charges relating to the murder of an elderly woman.
81–year–old Joyce Johnson of Stambaugh Township was found dead in her home last September, the same day she was to testify against Levack about the theft of jewelry from her home in 2008.
The jury found Levack guilty of first degree premeditated murder, felony murder, first degree home invasion, and witness intimidation threating to kill or injure.
He could face up to life in prison.
His sentencing is set for June 11th.
