Middle Schoolers Release Trout
Sixth-graders from Negaunee Middle School capped off a year-long project today.
The students, along with members of Trout Unlimited, released trout into the Carp River just south of Marquette this morning.
The students took care of the fish from the beginning of their life cycle until today as part of science class.
Five other middle schools across the U.P. participate in the Trout Unlimited program.
