Annual U.P. Disaster Conference

The 3rd annual U.P. disaster conference took place in Marquette today.

Agencies from across Upper Michigan learn what to be aware of and what to do in the event of an emergency.

Working together in the time of a crisis is an essential part of getting through a disaster.

This conference gives counties from across the U.P. a chance to network and see what different groups bring to the table in case of an emergency.

The conference also involved a tabletop discussion that allowed public safety, medical professionals and others to think ahead to ‘what if’ situations.
