Temporary Changes to Iron Mountain VA Parking
IRON MOUNTAIN – The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan, is announcing temporary changes to its parking spaces beginning Monday, April 16 due to repaving of its main patient parking lot. This is the first of two phases of a repaving project, which is expected to take 30 to 45 days to complete each phase.
All patients and visitors wishing to park at the VA Medical Center, except those needing handicap parking, will enter the property from Cedar Street southwest of the Medical Center and use the parking lot located between the outdoor pavilion and Cedar Street. Those needing handicap parking will proceed through the Medical Center’s main front entrance on Circle Drive and use the parking lot northwest of the main building. Parking areas will be clearly marked.
A shuttle will be available during normal business hours to take patients and visitors from the southwest parking lot to the main front entrance. Patients and visitors may also follow the signs and enter the Medical Center through the back entrance, including during non-business hours.
Patients and visitors will not be able to enter the Medical Center through the Outpatient Clinic entrance during Phase 1; however, they may be dropped off and enter through the main front entrance.
