Bell Hospital Celebrates Cliffs Donation
Cliffs Natural Resources was recognized today for its major contributions to Bell Hospital.
This afternoon, Bell officials celebrated the completion of cliffs’ capital campaign pledge to build the new hospital.
In the last five years, cliffs donated $2 million toward the construction.
Bell vice president of organizational development Ruth Solinski and Cliffs North American public affairs manager Dale Hemmila both say the partnership has been worthwhile for the company, the hospital and the community as a whole.
Bell set a record last month with more than 300 surgical procedures.
The hospital’s patient satisfaction rating is in the 98th percentile nationally.
Another bragging point for bell — its employees have given back more than 10,000 volunteer hours in the community.
