Negaunee Boil-Water Advisory Continues

Some residents in Negaunee are under a boil-water advisory for a second day.

A water main break Wednesday morning near the corner of Birch Street and Hungerford Avenue brought on the advisory.

The loss of pressure may have contaminated the water system, and residents of that area are being asked to boil their water for at least three to five minutes before cooking with it.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
