State Trooper Injured in Rollover
A state trooper from the Wakefield post is o–k today after rolling his patrol car over last night.
It happened shortly after 7:30 central time on m–28 in Wakefield Towship, near Tula Railroad.
Police say Trooper Joe Renaud was on his way to Stannard Township, where a woman was using an ax to break windows in her own home. Trooper Renaudleft the highway and rolled his vehicle over, but he wasn’t hurt.
The state police resident trooper from Ewen, troopers from the Iron River post, and D–N–R Conservation Officers responded to the original call instead.
They arrested the 41–year–old woman for malicious destruction of property.
