NMU Summer Job Fair
It’s never too early to start looking for summer employment.
The 12th annual Summer Job Fair at Northern Michigan University drew a large crowd of students today.
Information on a number of couple dozen different career fields was available.
Students and recent grads were able to learn more about positions ranging from retail to the military to being a camp counselor.
The job fairs bring students in closer contact with the business community.
NMU student Ashley Elzerman says many of the businesses who attend the fair each year are local to the Marquette area, so from a student’s perspective it’s a good chance to circulate a resume.
The organizations at the job fair today were looking for full-time and part-time employees, as well as interns.
