Substance Abuse Coalition
The Marquette County Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention Coalition keeps in touch with activities of teens and young adults.
Today, the group met to discuss the growing use of prescription drugs and how to get rid of them.
Marquette County Health Department health educator Sarah Derwin says students in local high schools are playing a big role in making sure their peers and members of the community know how dangerous those drugs can be.
The meetings are held monthly at the MARESA building in Marquette, and the public is welcome to attend.
