Marquette Township Construction

If you drive through Marquette Township, you may have noticed some new buildings being put up, as well as new businesses and construction equipment in many locations.

As we enter 2012, the construction projects of 2011 are finishing up.

One of the more notable projects — the new West Towne Center, the future home of Arby’s — is on schedule to open soon.

Jason McCarthy, the township planner, says the building will eventually be able to house close to a dozen businesses.

In addition to changes in the business community, Marquette Township’s own offices are expected to relocate to a new building later this year.
