Button Up The U.P.

Reporter Renee Prusi looks at “Getting Through Hard Times” with facts, figures and personal stories.

Some of those stories are about U.P. families not having adequate outdoor wear for the winter weather.

ABC 10 and a group of partners are conducting what we’re calling “Button Up the U.P.”.

It’s a coat drive that Radio Results Network and the Mining Journal are helping us promote.

Coats are being collected at Marquette Mountain.

You’ll get a thank-you in the form of $10 off the cost of a lift ticket at the ski hill.

The Button Up campaign continues through December 23rd, when the St. Vincent de Paul Society will distribute the coats to needy families.
