Black Friday Bomb Threat Reward Growing
The investigation continues tonight into the bomb threats that forced stores in the Marquette area to close on Black Friday.
And the reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case has grown again.
It now contains $3,200.
Marquette County Commissioner Jim Cihak contributed $100 to the fund this afternoon.
Mining Journal publisher and general manager Jim Reevs says some other area residents who weren’t directly affected by the bomb threats have also donated.
Reevs says the local managers of some big–box stores affected by the threats want to donate as well.
Those donations should come in once those store managers can get clearance from their corporate offices.
If you have any information related to the bomb threats a week and a half ago, call the Marquette Police at 228–0400.
If you’d like to add to the reward fund, contact the Mining Journal at 228–2500.
