Home Invasion Suspect Waives Prelim
A former Lake Linden resident suspected of multiple break–ins in the Bootjack Road area will be back in court in about two weeks.
18–year–old Jakob Hill was in 97th District Court this morning for a preliminary exam, but he waived his right to have one.
His case has been bound over to circuit court.
Hill and 19–year–old Cody Schmidt of Moose Lake are believed to be responsible for at least 20 burglaries in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
They were arrested in October in Minnesota.
Hill is charged with three counts of second-degree home invasion and one count of receiving and concealing firearms.
