Cell Phones for Soliders Continues
It’s been just about a month since mBank in Marquette joined the Cell Phones for Soldiers effort to connect soldiers deployed overseas to their loved ones.
The non–profit organization collects old phones, processes them and then distributes phone cards to soldiers who otherwise might not be able to contact their family members.
mBank assistant vice president Shelby Bischoff says the bank has seen a steady stream of donations, but they hope to see an increase with the holidays just around the corner.
If you want to help a solider keep in touch with loved ones, you can drop off a cell phone at either mBank branch in Marquette.
