Toys for Tots Drive Starts
Kids throughout Upper Michigan will be looking forward to waking up to toys on Christmas morning.
The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program lets you help put a toy under every tree and a smile on every kid’s face.
This year’s toy drive is now underway.
There are 30 different toy drop-off locations in Marquette County.
One of those locations is offering a small incentive for your donations.
U.P. Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty executive director Dr. Jeff Nyquist says the organization is holding a raffle for an iPad 2, and everyone who makes a Toys for Tots donation through their drop-off box is entered in that raffle.
Donation boxes will be available until December 22nd.
All toys must be new and unwrapped.
The Toys for Tots program is in its 63rd year.
Back in 1995, the Secretary of Defense approved Toys for Tots as an official Marine Corps mission.
