SnowCare for Troops Returns
A snow removal program for the families of deployed soldiers is beginning its second year.
Project Evergreen and Boss Snowplow’s SnowCare for Troops program is back.
Mark Klossner of Boss Snowplow in Iron Mountain says the program matches military families serving over seas with volunteers who provide free snow removal to the families.
Anyone with a snowplow, snowblower or even a shovel is eligible to help.
Klossner says fellow employees of Boss Snowplow have jumped at the chance to help soldiers’ families.
Nearly a thousand snow removal volunteers have already joined the project.
