Fake Solicitors in the Keweenaw

A warning for residents in the Keweenaw area…there have been reports that individuals have been trying to collect cash donations on behalf of the Dollar Bay-Tamarack City schools.

The suspects are said to have made phone calls to businesses and going from house to house requesting money to support the school’s extra-curricular activities.

Superintendent Doctor Jan Quarless of Dollar Bay Schools want people to know that they are not soliciting funds for any activities nor would they ask for cash donations.
