MTU student to meet Gov. Snyder
A Michigan Tech student will have the opportunity to meet Governor Rick Snyder at a special event today downstate.
Biomedical Engineering student Anne Dancy is originally from Texas and is minoring in chemical engineering-polymer science at Tech.
At the Keeping Our Educated Youth in State event in Southfield, Snyder and corporate CEO’s will hear from Dancy and other students on what would make them want to stay in Michigan after they’ve completed their education.
The students were asked to submit questions to the Governor, who will be the keynote speaker at the event.
Dancy plans to remain in Michigan and has already accepted a job with Chrysler Corporation in the Detroit area.
