Michigan Recovers Quickly from Recession
US Senator Debbie Stabenow credits auto companies for Michigan’s quick rate of recovery from the recession.
A recent report says the state of Michigan is recovering from the recession at the second fastest rate in the country.
Stabenow announced today that american auto companies and their workers are a now a bright spot in a tough economy because of the decision made to stand together and help the industry re–tool when others would have allowed them to under.
Stabenow has led efforts to create the conditions to spur high–tech clean energy manufacturing in michigan.
The senator also authored “The advanced technology vehicle manufacturing loan initiative” which has shown proven success in creating jobs in Michigan and across the country.
