Another Mackinac Bridge Accident
An accident Thursday on the Mackinac Bridge on Thursday resulted in a careless driving citation for a Cedarville man. The Michigan State Police at the St. Ignace post say the accident happened just before 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Robert Drumm, 81, was northbound on the bridge, when he hit two parked unattended vehicles as well as another northbound vehicle.
One of the parked vehicles then hit a man working on the bridge. He was knocked 15 feet, landing on the deck of the bridge. His injuries were not life threatening.
Earlier this month, a semi driver suffering a medical emergency died October 14th when his rig crashed into oncoming traffic. Another less serious accident on the bridge days later.
