Beacon House Fundraiser

A fundraising effort for a local nonprofit group is going well, offering a chance to kick off the new year with seats at a big football game.

Marquette’s beacon house is also selling raffle tickets.

4 winners will each receive a pair of green bay packers – Detroit lions sky-box tickets for new year’s day in green bay.

the proceeds will help out the house, which many guests call a godsend.

There are 5–thousand tickets for sale, and they cost 25 dollars each.

the drawing is December 1st.

Ted Adiska bought tickets, and he’s trying to get others in the Keweenaw to buy.

River Valley Bank, the Marquette general hospital gift shop and the lake superior community partnership are serving as ticket outlets.

so is the wonderland motel in Laurium, which Ted Adiska owns.
