Accidental Masonville Twp. Shooting
A delta county resident ended up with minor injuries after accidentally shooting himself with a pistol over the weekend.
State troopers from the Gladstone Post arrived at the scene just after 7 Saturday night.
56-year-old Gary Hall of Masonville Township told police he had a .22-caliber pistol holstered on his side, and as he was cleaning out his pole barn, the gun fell from the holster and landed on the concrete floor.
The pistol accidentally discharged and struck Hall in the shoulder.
Hall sought his own medical treatment at Marquette General Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
