Passionately Pink in Marquette County
Sawyer International Airport was Passionately Pink today as American Airlines and American Eagle, in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, took part in the “Fly for the Cure.” American Eagle breast cancer survivors and co-workers rallied this morning as part of the Passionately Pink for the Cure® campaign to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The “Fly for the Cure” campaign invites Komen advocates to celebrate those they are honoring – be it a parent, sibling, other relative, or friend – as they help in the fight to end breast cancer. A all-female flight crew flew the specially designed tribute plane on the morning departure to Chicago.
Tune in to ABC 10 News Now tonight at 5:30 pm for a look at the event and the reaction from from survivors and their co-workers and supporters.
