Credit Union Robbery Sentencing
The second man involved in a U.P. armed robbery from earlier this year is heading to federal prison.
20-year-old Jacob Johnston of Gladstone has been sentenced to 40 months.
He was charged with aiding and abetting the robbery of the Great Lakes First Federal Credit Union in Rapid River in January.
U.S. District Judge R. Allan Edgar to four years of federal supervised release after he completes the prison term.
Johnston’s co–defendant, Carl Crane III, was sentenced several weeks ago.
He’s serving 66 months in federal prison.
