MI Gas Prices Still Falling
Gas prices across the country are continuing to slide, and Michigan prices are following suit.
Nationally, gas is averaging $3.59 a gallon, down 7 cents from a week ago but still 85 cents more than 2010 levels.
AAA Michigan reports the current statewide average for regular self-serve gas is $3.69 a gallon.
That’s down a nickel from last week.
The lowest prices in the state are in the Saginaw/Bay City/Midland area, where gas is $3.65.
The highest gas prices are in the Traverse City area, where gas is almost a dime higher at $3.74.
AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 gas stations across the state every day.
