Graveraet Ribbon Cutting
AFTER YEARS OF HARD WORK AND MANY LONG HOURS, A LOCAL FOUNTAIN HAS BEEN RESTORED TO BRING BACK THE MEMORIES OF YESTER YEAR, AND GREET A NEW GENERATION OF STUDENTS.
DOZENS OF PEOPLE GATHERED TO WATCH THE CEREMONIAL RIBBON CUTTING COMMEMORATING THE NEW FOUNTAIN IN FRONT OF GRAVERAET SCHOOL.
PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE COMMUNITY AND PREVIOUS GRADUATING CLASS CAME BACK TO SEE AND CELEBRATE THE OCCASION.
ALTHOUGH THIS PROJECT WAS CREATED BY THE SCHOOL BOARD,
IT WAS PUBLICLY FUNDED.
IT JUST SHOWS WHAT MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY CAN DO WHEN THEY PUT THEIR MINDS TO IT.
WHILE THE FOUNTAIN IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL THE KAUFMAN AUDITORIUM BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE IS STILL HOPING TO COLLECT THE LAST 7,000 DOLLARS IN DONATIONS TO COMPLETELY COVER THE COSTS.
