THE UP NORTH LODGE IN GWINN HAS RAISED CLOSE TO SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR CHARITY.
THE RESTAURANT HAS RAISED 22 HUNDRED DOLLARS IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS FOR FOUR LOCAL AGENCIES THROUGH THEIR TUESDAY NIGHT BIKE NIGHT FUNDRAISING EVENTS.
IN MAY, 575 DOLLARS WAS RAISED FOR BAY CLIFF HEALTH CAMP THROUGH U.P. CRUISING DOT COM.
LAST MONTH, FORSYTH TOWNSHIP’S EMT’S SPONSORED BY NATIONAL GUARD RAISED $550.
THE UPPER PENINSULA ANIMAL WELFARE SHELTER SPONSORED BY TASSON DISTRIBUTING RAISED $750.
AND THE THIN BLUE LINE SPONSORED BY THE UP NORTH LODGE RAISED $325.
OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES TO BENEFIT FROM THE SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS INCLUDE THE U.P. CHILDREN’S MUSEUM, THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, AND THE U–P DIABETES OUTREACH NETWORK.
SO AN A–B–C TEN SALUTE TO THE UP NORTH LODGE AND IT’S PATRONS AND TUESDAY NIGHT BIKERS FOR SUPPORTING THESE, AND OTHER, LOCAL CHARITIES.
