17 year old arrested after high speed chase
A Marquette County teen is in police custody today after leading local law enforcement on a high speed chase and ramming a police car.
Anthony Rector, age 17, was arraigned in 96th District Court today on charges of Fleeing and Eluding -3rd degree (5-year felony), Felonious Assault (4-year felony) and Operating While Intoxicated.
The charges stem from a high speed pursuit that started in Chocolay Township just after midnight this morning. It all came to an end in the Harlow Lake area after Rector crashed his truck, hit the police car and then took off on foot.
He was taken into police custody after officers used a Taser Gun.
