Dickinson County Hometown Health Card
There’s a new approach to saving money on health care in Dickinson County.
It was launched just last night.
It’s called the Hometown Health Card.
The card offers a 25% discount on medical services in Dickinson County.
It’s available to all members of the Dickinson Area Partnership, as well as their families and employees.
Partnership president and CEO Bruce Orrtenburger says that could add up to thousands of cardholders.
Dickinson County Healthcare System CEO John Schon says the card has been a work in progress between the Partnership and the hospital for the last three years and most area physicians are on board with the idea.
The Hometown Health Card goes into effect on June 2nd.
