Unarmed Robbery of Elderly Marquette Man
Marquette Police are asking for your help in finding the suspects from an alarming midday attack on an elderly man.
It’s said to have happened at about 1:30 yesterday afternoon on the 500 block of Oak Street.
Police say a 72-year-old man was working in his yard when two young men approached him.
The elderly man told police one of the suspects jumped him while the other one tried to get his wallet out of his pocket.
The man was able fight off the suspect and protect his wallet.
The suspects took off westbound on Ohio Street.
Both suspects have been described as males in their late teens or early 20s.
Both are believed to be about 5’8″ with husky builds.
A dark-haired suspect was wearing dark shorts, a dark shirt and tennis shoes.
A blond male was wearing tan shorts, a white T–shirt and socks with tennis shoes.
