MDOT Seeking Comments on Long-term Plans in U.P.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking comments from the public in the Upper Peninsula on the State Transportation Improvement Plan and the department’s Five Year Program at three meetings this month.
The meetings will be conducted by MDOT Superior Region and Transportation Service Center (TSC)staff at 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (Noon Central) Wednesday, April 20; Thursday, April 21; and Wednesday April 27, 2011.
The meetings will be held at the Chocolay Township Hall (April 20), 5010 US-41 South in Harvey; St. Ignace City Hall (April 21), 396 N. State St., St. Ignace and at the MDOT Crystal Falls TSC (April 27), 120 Tobin-Alpha Road, Crystal Falls.

MDOT staff will discuss projects upcoming in the 2011 construction season, and plans for Upper Peninsula state highways through 2015.
