Credit Union Robbery Investigation Continues
The Iron River credit union that was robbed at gunpoint earlier this week is still not quite back to normal yet.
The Superior Iron Range Community Federal Credit Union will be open tomorrow for drive–through customers only.
The lobby and the walk–up windows will be closed.
It’s the same situation that the credit union was in today.
The robbery happened Tuesday morning, and the investigation continues.
Iron River Police say the suspect displayed a handgun as he demanded money.
A full–face motorcycle helmet hid his identity.
He’s described as a stocky young male, about five foot nine, wearing dark green coveralls, and he allegedly left the scene on a green four–wheeler.
There’s still no word on how much money was taken.
If you have any other information, Iron River Police are asking you to call them at 265–4321.
