Pawn Shop Murder Unsolved After 1 Year

It’s been a year since the murder of Robert Dusseau in Marquette Township.

And on the annivesary of his death, police are asking for help in solving the crime.

Dusseau was one of the owners of the Quik Cash and Gun shop on US-41.

He was found dead of a gunshot wound outside his shop.

Dusseau was 27 years old — married with a baby on the way.

A suspect has been identified, but police are looking for help in their investigation.

Their suspect, Ryan Saari, is currently serving a 115-month federal prison sentence on a gun charge.

He has never been charged with Dusseau’s murder.

Two firearms from the pawn shop are still missing — a 12-gauge Remington Wingmaster shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol.

Other items missing from the business include a money box, a digital recording unit and monitor, and personal items of Dusseau’s including his wedding ring and wallet.

If you know where these items are, or what has happened to them, police want to know.

They are asking for anyone who knew either the victim or the suspect to contact them as part of the investigation.

They know Ryan Saari has had property stored in several locations throughout the central U.P.

But if you know of other storage units, let the police know.

A reward has been established for information leading to an arrest or conviction.
