MI Gas Prices Up 2.5 Cents
Michigan motorists will pay about two and a half cents per gallon more for gas this week.
The metro Detroit average is 54.2 cents per gallon higher than last year at this time.
AAA Michigan reports the current statewide average for regular unleaded gas is up to just over $3.15 a gallon.
The lowest gas prices in the state are in the Detroit area and the Saginaw/Bay City area.
A gallon of self-serve regular gas will set you back an average of $3.13 in both places.
The highest gas prices among the areas where AAA checks aren’t in the Marquette area this time, as they usually are.
They’re in the Jackson area at almost $3.18.
AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 gas stations in the state daily.
