MI Gas Prices Down a Nickel
Around the U.P., gas prices have edged back up, but for the state as a whole they’re on the way down.
AAA Michigan says the statewide average for regular gas is down to just over $3.10 a gallon.
That’s a drop of nearly a nickel from last week but more than 30 cents higher than what it cost this time last year.
The lowest gas prices in the state are in the Saginaw/Bay City/Midland area, where a gallon of self-serve regular fuel will cost you $3.01.
As usual, Marquette has the highest prices among the areas AAA surveys at $3.18.
Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 gas stations in the state daily.
