Manistique Assault Arrest
A Schoolcraft County man is in jail tonight on a pair of assault charges.
Manistique Public Safety says they arrested 34-year-old Terry Zellar of Germfask a week ago.
He’s charged with assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, a felony enhancement charge of being a habitual offender and a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
The charges stem from a December 30th incident in Manistique when Zellar is alleged to have assaulted a 28-year-old woman.
He’s in the Schoolcraft County jail on $100,000 bond.
Zellar is scheduled to be in Schoolcraft County District Court tomorrow morning.
