Marquette Man Charged with Drug Death
A Marquette man could face up to life in prison if he’s convicted of a drug charge he’s facing.
Marquette Police arrested 59-year-old Charles Ferron Friday night on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance causing death.
The charge dates back to an incident at Ferron’s apartment on Lincoln Avenue on August 9th.
An unresponsive 27-year-old woman whose name has not been released was lying on the floor.
Ferron was also there, and he called paramedics.
The woman was taken to Marquette General and she died there the next day.
Ferron is accused of supplying the woman with Fentanyl, a very strong pain reliever that comes in the form of a patch.
Ferron is being held in the Marquette County Jail on $75,000 bond.
