Republican Poll-Watching Training
Election Day is just around the corner, and the political poll-watching is getting down to business.
The Marquette County Republican Party is asking for volunteers to man the polls this Tuesday.
Keith Kazianka, regional field coordinator for Dan Benishek’s Congressional campaign, says volunteers will observe the votes being counted just to make sure that procedural mistakes aren’t being made.
The Republicans are having a training session at party headquarters tomorrow for those interested in helping on Election Day.
Volunteers are being recruited to watch the polls at the Marquette Armory, the Baraga Gym at Marquette City Hall and the Forsyth Township Community Building.
A training session will be held tomorrow.
