Political Day in Marquette

With just under three weeks left until the November election, now is the time to begin making your candidate choices.

And tomorrow will be a busy day on the political scene in the Marquette area.

From 11:30 until 1, a meet-the-candidates session will take place at the GOP office on Wright Street in Marquette.

A number of Republican candidates will be on hand — Congressional candidate Dr. Dan Benishek and State Senate candidate Tom Casperson are expected to be there.

Then both Republican and Democratic contenders will take part in the U.P. Children’s Forum tomorrow night.

That will take place at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette at 6:30.

The candidates will participate in a question-and-answer session.
