Seventh Street Extension Open

After many years of discussion and months of construction, Marquette’s new Seventh Street extension is open.

The street opens up another corridor into the downtown area from the bypass and should help with traffic on Front and Washington Streets.

Motorists on Seventh Street will able to drive from Washington Street to the US-41 bypass.

Stop signs are at the Spring and Fisher Street intersections for traffic entering Seventh.

Another plus to the project — a left–turn lane between Rock and Fisher Streets.
