MI Gas Prices Up a Nickel
Gas prices in Michigan have been bouncing like beach balls all summer long, and they’re still bouncing.
AAA Michigan reports the current statewide average for regular gas is up just over a nickel this week to $2.83 a gallon.
Last year at this time, it was $2.66.
The lowest gas prices in the state are in the Lansing area, where a gallon of self-serve regular just over $2.77 for regular self–serve fuel.
The highest gas prices are in the Ann Arbor area, where gas is an average of almost $2.88.
AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 gas stations in the state daily.
